Tap Dance...............

Beginning
Mon. and Wed. 6pm - 7pm
Tap technique from the first step through the basics. Learn the traditional Shim Sham Chorus. Students must begin within the first 3 weeks. Twice a week is highly recommended. Tap shoes required.

Intermediate I
Thur. 7pm - 8pm and Sat. 11am - 12pm
Tap technique for students progressing from Beginning. More steps, more rhythm.

Intermediate II
Tues. 7pm - 8pm and Sat. 10am - 11am
A technique class for progressing students with a minimum of 1 year Intermediate I experience. Time step variations. Rhythm tap essentials. Various tap dance styles.

Intermediate II - Seniors
Wed. 10am - 11am
Tap technique geared for, but not limited to, senior adults. Taught with flexibility exercises to improve balance and concentration. Jazz standards & ballads.

Intermediate III
Tues. and Thur. 6pm - 7pm
Tap technique for advanced intermediate students ready to bridge the distance to the next level.

Advanced
Mon. 6pm - 7pm
Tap technique emphasizing footwork, musicality, dynamics and performance skills.

Leon Collins Steps - Int./Adv.
Wed. 7pm - 8pm

Hollywood Classics -Int./Adv.
Sat. 12pm - 1pm
Intermediate/Advanced levels. Learn excerpts of tap dance numbers from classic Hollywood movies.

Intro to Improvisation - Int.
Mon. 7pm - 8pm

Improvisation - Experienced Improvisers
Mon. 7pm - 8pm

Advanced Tap Dance Skills for Teens

Jazz Dance/Fitness...........

GroovementsTM
Wed. 6-7pm and Sat. 9am - 10am
"No Parking On the Dance Floor". Move it. Groove it. R&B/Funk/Latin/Rock/Soul/Hip-Hop/Acid Jazz. This class is similar to a jazz dance class with a center warm-up, isolations, stylized moves across the floor and brief combinations. Wear sneakers. Laugh a lot!

Strength'n'Balance
Tues. and Thurs. 6pm - 7pm
Resistance training, core strengthening and exercises that challenge and improve balance to support all activities. This class is offered as a semi-private lesson.

10 class card - valid 3 months $140.00
10 class session = 1x wk. 6/15 - 8/22/09 $130.00
20 class session = 2x wk. 6/15 - 8/22/09 $240.00
30 class session = 3x wk. 6/15 - 8/22/09 $330.00

Payment Policies

Payments are due prior to taking class.

Ten class cards are good for 3 months from date of purchase with allowance made for studio closures.

When paying for a group of classes in a session: Payment is due prior to the first class of each session. Classes must be taken within the dates of the session.

No Cash Refunds. No Extensions. Not Transferable.

No credit will be given after a session has ended. Inform us if you are cancelling mid session and you will receive credit minus $16 per class for every class that you have attended.

Family & Professional discount = 10%. Seniors (65+) take $10 off total.

Checks with insufficient funds are subject to bank service fees plus amount owed to the studio.

Private instruction payments are due prior to the lesson. Cancellation minimum 24hrs in advance or full amount is due.
